While performing during a show in Birmingham, UK-where she is currently on tour-, a fan held on to her hand and refused to let go. Shockingly, Rihanna, 25, stopped singing, hit the fan in the face with her mic and continued like nothing happened.

Another Baby Born With Quaran In Lagos

PM News Reports:

Residents from various parts of Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have been coming to catch a glimpse of a baby allegedly born with a miniature Quran at 9, Oguntade Street, Shasha area of the state.

Incidents like these are scientifically impossible, but residents of the area say it is true even though some of them confessed that they did not see the baby clutching the miniature Quran, the holy book of the Muslims. They were only told about it.

The baby's mother simply identified as Oyin is an Elect/Elect Part 4 Student of the Engineering department and currently stays at Room B103, Moremi Hall.

Inside sources reveal that Oyin wanted to flush off the baby without traces but didn’t succeed and later claimed the baby came out while she was trying to use the toilet.

Popular Gospel Singer Dekunle Fuji Turns Certified Nurse In The US

Despite the success of his  monstrous hit 'Mo like Jesu Gan', gospel singing sensation Dekunle Fuji has decided to shed the robe of stardom, for nursing.

New reports reveal that the former Storm Records artiste, who several years ago was a toast in the gospel scene is now based in the US State of New Jersey, where he went through a nursing course to become a registered nurse.

Investigations reveal that Dekunle real name Adekunle Oloyede Michael Olalekan left the shores of Nigeria for a show in the US in 2011. However on getting to the US, he started considering relocating abroad and finding an additional source of livelihood, hence the birth of his nursing ambition was born.
He continues to perform at small gigs, but is said to now be more keen on his nursing career.

A 30-year-old woman, Precious Adebayo, yesterday, narrated how she escaped from a suspected ritualist, Taiwo Balogun, who disguised as a commercial bus driver.

NEMA Warns Lagosians Against 'Unprecedented Heavy Rainfall' And Severe Weather Today June 18th

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has warned residents in the southern parts of the country against severe weather which may result in unprecedented heavy rainfall. 
In a statement on Monday 17th of June 2013, the agency said that the weather could bring “unforeseen stress” upon the populace.
“NEMA is issuing this early warning based on the alerts received from the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development based in Niamey, Niger Republic,” said the statement signed by Ibrahim Farinloye, NEMA’s South-West Spokesperson. “The centre issued the warning about 4:35 p.m. (on Monday) to other related countries that may likely witness such severe weather in Central, East and West African sub-regions,” the statement added. In Nigeria, Lagos and its surrounding states are expected to experience torrential rainfall from about 50 mm within 24 hours, according to the statement.

2013 FIFA's Confederation Cup: Nigeria Last Team To Arrive, Has Less Time For Preparations+Match Schedule

The 2013 Confederations Cup now has its full complement of eight teams after Nigeria belatedly arrived in Brazil on Saturday night, hours after the start of the tournament.
The delay means that coach Stephen Keshi has barely 36 hours to prepare his side for their Group B opener against Oceania minnows Tahiti on Monday.
The squad are scheduled to have their first training session in Brazil later on Sunday.
The African champions had been due to arrive on Thursday, but a dispute with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over bonus payments meant the squad missed their initial scheduled flights.
The players were angry that they were only offered a bonus of $2,500 (1,873 euros) for their 1-1 draw with Namibia in World Cup qualifying on Wednesday.

New's making rounds at this hour online is that reality star Kim Kardashian has just delivered a baby girl, 5 weeks before her due date. She was admitted to hospital in Beverly Hills on this morning.

Both mother and child are believed to be in good health -- despite the baby's arrival being five weeks early.

Just In: Tinubu's Mother, Abibatu Mogaji Dies

The mother of ex Lagos state governor Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  Alhaja Dr. Abibatu Asabi Mogaji is dead.
Asabi Mogaji was the President-General, Association of Nigerian Market Women and Men(Iyaloja of Nigeria).
She died on Saturday evening 15th of June 2013 at the age of 96 in her home in Ikeja, Lagos.
She will be buried at 11am on Sunday at Ikoyi cemetery.
